Dont know what is going on. Ive got a Mathews Switchback XT that i bought in 2006. Ive been shooting this thing with one pin out to 30 yds for the last two yrs. Well put a new sight on it and took it out to tune it in and got the pin set at 20 yds but when i dropped back to 30 it was 6 inches low. Never seen a bow drop off that bad before. Worked for the last two years so i dont know what on earth is going on. Took it to the shop and the guy said he had never heard of it. Theyre gonna put a new string on it and check to make sure everything is in spec. Hope they can get it lined out.

Just guessing, it kind of sounds like the new sight is the difference.

Don't rule out being out of practice. It is always good to shoot a few weeks to get you muscles back in shape and get your form down before trying to make tuning changes.

I know its not the sight. The bow was dead on from 10 to 30 yds and only dropped about an inch or two at 40 yds the past two years so the new sight wouldnt affect the performance of the bow. The only two things i could come up with is either the string got enough stretch in it this year to slow it down or the limbs are bad.
