They are putting the new gate in at Center Hill Dam today. If it works as projected, the water conditions and the fishing in the river should improve greatly. Back when gas a cheap $2.75 a gallon, I would have run up there, shot pictures and done a story.
Now would one of you guys that live around there let us all know how it is working?

I balance the value of the story against the cost of getting it. Didn't compute. Spend $25 for a two paragraph story and a picture? Nah. I'll just do the story on the fishing conditions when I go Thursday. That way for the same cost, I get to fish and stay cool.
Just good sense and beats wrecking a scooter. Besides, by then gas will be down to $3.55 here.
