I have three kids, 8, 6 and 4. And I can't wait to have my oldest take his first deer. He has already been shooting and is hooked. The 6 year old is not far behind. They are going to draw straws for the youth hunts this year.

That's awesome i got my 8 yr old daughter her first .22 for Christmas last year and the 5 year old daughter got a bb gun.

I'm so excited. My 13 year old daughter is wanting to hunt this year. Got her the hunter safety course and she has been shooting my Savage Model 24 20 ga. She handles it pretty good and is accurate at 35 yards. That's about as far as she will be able to shoot anyway where we hunt.
