The Colt model sold for about half the price of a Stallion. The Colt model was produced before and continued production after the Stallion was discontinued. The Colt was geared towards entry level archers including youths, hence the name. The sight window on the Colt was less than the Stallion's 7 and a half inch sight window. The later Stallions were made with exotic woods as opposed to the Colt that was made of hardwoods. Pearsons doesn't have the resale value as older Bear bows but they are well built and enjoyable to shoot. They actually seem to stack less than the old Bears and have less of a tendency to twist limbs, IMO.

I walked the course at the first archery tournament at Old Hickory Bowmen last January taking pics for the club. Here was my pick to win the tournament.
