I got up at four this morning and put on my river disquise. I disquised myself as Stillunscrubbed and went to meet my undercover partner. He was disquised as Cuttin Taters. You may recall, our mission was to gather a complete and comprehesnive report on the CF and get a picture of a baitflinger jerking the guts out of a 13" brown trout.
Well, as I finished the last of my first cup of coffee since November, I contemplated if I could wait until we got to the river or should I go back inside and attend to the paper work. While I was deciding that, my partner, in a high falsetto voice, said, "Is that lightning?"
Well the whole dam sky was filled with lighting. It was an easy decision. I went home and my undercover partner went dowtown to walk Dickerson Road. I mean, heck, he was dressed for it, why waste a perfectly good disquise?
So you will have to wait until next week for my report. By then, they may have the sluice gate open and we can sluice.

Supposed to start sluicing Aug. 4. But I sure would not make book on it. If I understand it correctly, should be a constant water flow equal to about 3/4 of one gen.

Are they still on planning on putting the orfice in the sleuce gate?It is supposed to help oxygen content isn't it.

I think If i heard right when they stop all the leaks there would not be enough water in the rivers so they plan on the sleuce gate and orfice to provide enough for a constant flow.Just wondering if anyone heard any different.I been around that dam all my life.It has always leaked.I don't believe they can stop it.I know one thing It makes me nervous as heck when I am laying in bed at night and i hear that dynamite go off up there.
