I've shot several different rests and I like WB the best because of the fact it holds arrow sucurely and also the new version with v cut makes for easy loading as well

I have been using one since they first came out , and have never had them rip the fletchings off of a properly fletched arrow when the WB is setup properly .

I shoot a WB2 quick release version. Have for three years...with Fletchings. I target shoot alot more than hunt due to the job. I will say with three inch fletches I have NEVER torn one off the bow shooting thru the WB. I have had some wear after a great number of shots on the outside of the flethings but not enough to chage the flight of the arrow ir affect accuracy. Fletchings/Vanes or whatever you use will eventually wear or bend or whatever on a target anyway. If the WB is correctly set up (Thanks Frankie @ Woods&Waters) you will not have a problem with fletchings, vanes or anything else. I cant answer for the original WB, but then again thats why they improve and make better or upgraded models.
