Hello...I've got a buddy who is looking for a bow for his son. How far down poundage wise can a 50 to 60 pound bow usually be reduced? Thanks

It's best to stick with what the manufacture rates the limbs, so in this case, your safest bet is 50 lbs.

A good used Jr bow might also work...that's what I started two of my sons on and they both killed deer with them

PSE Nova bows are great bows for kids. Bought one for my wife 20lbs to 30lbs.
