Caught this sauger up by the rest area this morning. First one up that far in a long time. Use to catch them all the time. Caught lots of browns and bows and brooks and some good ones, couple or four in the 18-22 inch range.

But by God, we need a size limit on the rainbows...and maybe a trophy trout stretch, too.

Oh, BTW- Did not see another living soul until we hit Bettys. Four guys fishing there. I asked them what they thought about a size limit on rainbows. Three wanted to fight and one said, "What's a rainbow?" They all had stringers with at least seven fish on them...at least seven.

That's pretty cool. I've caught a couple on streamers, but it's been a long time.

Are you implying that these bait fisherman were breaking the law? Are you also implying you didn't call the law?

I would expect nothing less of you.

So what responsibility do you have as an adult in our society? I am sure you think none.

Now wait a minoozle. Who said they were bait fishermen? Why would you jump to that conclusion? Talk about profiling! In fact, two were using flyswitches and two were using spinning rods. Only of them was using salmon eggs. And I did call the law. I stood on that gravel bar and hollered Law, Law Law. They never came. Of course, had I had a cell phone, I might have had better luck.

And whatever gave you idea I am an adult.
