I would guess a black buffalo but with a top view only I'm not positive. It would be more of a white than yellow like a carp.

Hard to be certain, but it looks like a bigmouth buffalo. The black and smallmouth buffalos have more of that Angelina Jolie pucker sucker mouth. This one's mouth sort of looks like the bigmouth. They usually only eat tiny things, like zooplankton and insect larvae. I've seen plenty but never caught one. It's really rare to catch one, so maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks guys with your info I did a little research and 99% sure it a Bigmouth buffalo and he is still swiming the blood was actually where I laid it in the cooler while gettind the camera and it got stuck by a catfish.

Smallmouth Buffalo, just a big male. There is no such creature as a white carp or a yellow carp, just carp. I also do not believe we have Bigmouth Buffalo in our waters, not that it matters because both yours and Bowriters are Smallmouth Buffalo. They have different color phases, some blackish, some pink, and some green. Same fish different color.
