thats a great fish,nice being able to catch something like that close to home with no salt water in site  mike243
It is actually 2 different fish of similar size. And you are exactly right it is nice to have them here to offer something that can truly wreck tackle. I used to hate them, but now have grown out of that.

I am not afraid to show my face, but some of my employers and coworkers visit this sight and since I screw off during the day I do not want to broadcast to the world when, where, and what I might be doing on company time, if you know what I mean

I am a guide, but not full time anymore. I guide on the weekends and occasionally during the week when duty calls to make some mad money for toys. I have a real job wear I am forced to wear a suit and act like a professional even though that is far from what I am under my fancy clothes

I can't find your cell # or would have given you a call. I am game anytime you wish to go.
Yes that fish was almost as big as me. If you notice I am straining to hold them up. I didn't weigh either fish, but would say 35-40 lbs. and maybe bigger. All I do know it that it was an epic battle each time, and left me laying in the floor of the boat with exhaustion
