Yeah...but guess what? The biggest ones are caught jigging in the channels down with big spoons when they run. And the numbers are better then too. Hey...you can catch anything on anything...but what's it prove? I guess Shaq coudl beat some high school kids in Bball wearing clown shoes, but as for me? I like to use the most effective and efficient means at the time. Hence, back to this whole "wah, wah, we don't want you using OUR trout for live bait, wah" bull-roar. What a mess...You ould ctch those same fish throwing heavier spinning gear and not stress them to death fighting them, yes, even on that heavy fly tackle.

Too bad its not that effective where you're using it here and now, Fordman. Geez, dude lighten up a bit. I never had a problem with people fly fishing...it was just the elitest attitude...and realizing their buttons were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to push! Maybe a few of them will wake up someday, shake it off, and go pick up a cheap spinning outfit to take with them so they're that much more a compleat angler, and lose that hardheadedness, cult mentality. Once again, I've fished with and continue to fish with GREAT flyfishermen who don't act and behave like half the guys I meet on these boards. Just sayin'...and a few of them are VERY accredited guides...and believe it or not, more "bloodthirsty" than 'ol me.

...on that note, Jesus, Fordman, I hardly get on here any more, and don't even LIVE In TN, and you still bring me up? Get a life man...seriously. I guarantee you that last thing on my mind is you and all that mess. Seriously...take up macrime or birdwatching. Actually, birdwatching might be a good excuse for all those times you're out there flyfishing...

Awesome video! Boy, you just knew ole Tartar Sauce would completely wig out and go on another irrelevant childish rant after watching someone have fun fishing any other way than his way.

You should know by now that only ole Tartar Sauce knows how to catch them feeshies. As he constantly reminds anyone and everyone, he is the complete angler, and any other method or fisherman just plain sux...except Buck Perry of course.

Ole TS don't like fishin' for dem tarpon cause it's hard to rationalize that it's only his GARGANTUAN ego that loves killing all the fish, not his stomach. Even some o dat ole tartar sauce won't make 'em tarpeens taste any better than cardboard.

Had a ball watching his meltdown, but I'll go back to my macrime and birdwatching now. \:D

Actually, I believe the biggest ones are usually caught on live/cut ladyfish and crabs.

However, since you've lived in Florida for a couple months now, I'm sure we can consider you the foremost expert in the world on tarpon fishing.

Clearly that video is more solid evidence that catch and release doesn't work.

Thanks for posting it Fordman. That job in the Keys looks better each day.
