from what type of shaft?
here is how i remove from carbons. I heat up a field pt pretty hot then screw in the shaft, wait about a minute and twist. if it doesnt come out, I remove the nock and drop a drill bit inside the shaft and hammer it out by bouncing the bit up and down.
alum shafts I heat them up just enough to break the bond.

Put the field tip in then lighter it until hot. It will transfer the heat to the insert and you can twist the field tip with plyers like you are tightening it and the whole uinsert will turn then just remove

I do the same thing and still use hot melt glue to put the inserts in my broadhead / hunting arrows. For tuning, heat the broadhead (I use our gas stove on low burner setting) just enough to soften the glue, then turn the head and spin test them. On my practice arrows for field points, I use CA glue.

I used superglue so that heating up stuff didnt work.

U took the knock out and stuck a big drill bit upside down in my shaft and swung it with one hand like a baseball bat and the insert came flying out and the dril bit did too, right acros the room \:D
