I may break down and come to this one. I hate TU but Chris is a good speaker.
Heck, TU even lets bait fishermen and ugly women in! I guess they'd have to let you in, too.

LOL ok even I thought that was funny! And I do feel the need to clarify before BD gets here.. I dont dislike TU as an organization and my hats off t their conservation efforts but these meetings are what gives me a case of the arse. I went for several months and the ONLY person who was not to stuck up to speak was Jack. The rest of them were to worried about wrinkling their suits to get up and welcome anyone to the meeting.

Well, I'll disagree with you again. Never seen the slightest inkling of that, but I had heard that used to be true many years ago. To each his own, though.

Actually, that's about the time I heard things changed. I think Jack had a lot to do with it, too. Before my TU time, though.

I hate that I've been missing the meetings for the last couple months. Now that the meeting place is up near Opry Mills, it's a lot closer to me, and I've intended to go more. My schedule has been terrible this summer though.
Troy, I agree with you that the TU meetings used to be kind of "clique-ish." If you didn't know someone when you went to the meeting, it was really hard to meet people and start a conversation, because everyone stuck with their own crowds. It seemed to be better the last couple times I went, but I know a lot more people now, so who knows?
I'll tell you what - barring unforeseen events, I ought to be at next month's meeting. If you're there, I'll talk to you so no one else has to. It's one of those small services I provide to the community.
