I have always set up my bows myself to some extent. A couple or three years ago after some experiences with some "pro shops" I started getting the stuff and started learning how to do as much as I can. I changed my first string and cable back in the spring. After I learned how to do this stuff I realized I liked doing it. That sounds all fine and dandy. However, I am also the type of person when I get a bow set up and tuned I leave it alone. I am not constantly tinkering with it. I have a bow I got in 2000 that is still setup the same way it was back then. I don't want to mess with the ones I have setup and I sure don't want to buy another one. I need some kind of project. Anyone got any ideas.

Setup another bow for a backup . I usually keep a bow or two setup for a backup bow incase I break a limb , string, etc. on my primary bow . If you are good at setting up your own bows ,buy a decent used bow and fix it up if needed .

I already have at least two backups. I guess I could get a used one to fix up if I found a good one. I already have enough accessories that all I would need is the bow.

Man, I had to look up Moss, TN, and I'm still not sure where you are.
But to your question - maybe you can pick up a bow or two at a decent price at a pawn shop. Practice working on them, get'em set up, sell them and you're on your way to riches.

Work in another area of archery. Get you a jig and start fletching arrows.
