Shot Muzzy's forever and last year switched to the Rage 2-blade and had really good luck with them. I am kind of nervous though that my luck will run out with an expandable. Give me a reason(s) to swap to the slick tricks. Do they require a helical to shoot well?

Mine fly perfect with Blazers. Of course nearly any head will fly great if your bow is tuned properly. I like them because I get great flight, great penetration, they are strong, and they come pretty sharp.

Slick Tricks are a low profile fixed blade head , less likely to wind plane than most traditional broadheads , so they are more forgiving of bow tune , etc. Check them out at http://www.slicktrick.net

I shot rage last year only because of the flight. I didn't kill a deer so I am not sure of the hole it will create. I have heard a few people say they had some blades open in flight, and my personal broadheads have a little noise in the blades and they are as tight as I can get them.
My question is, do these slick tricks really fly like field points? I am sold if I can shoot field points and fixed blades the same without moving anything. Any comments are appreciated.

I was using Muzzy's and couldn't ever get them to fly consistantly. I bought the Slick Tricks and without doing anything to my bow they flew just like my field points. I've read where many people on here have had the same experience.

Muzzy's quality seemed to go down the last few years I used them. As far as the rage I can vouch for the holes - massive. I have read on here for awhile all the success with slick tricks and thought I might give them a try. From everything I've read I will do that for sure now.

I thought I would shoot the .85 grains. Has anyone shot these? I am only thinking about these because I used to shoot mini rockets in this weight. Will I get better accuracy with the 100 grain?
