i use those light speed 400,s in my setup have shot 4 bucks with them , complete pass thrus on all 4 , 3 of them with the same arrow. even though they are supposedly only a "3-d arrow" they are a fine hunting shaft and very tough. i like easton arrows period.
they take their straightness measurements over the center 28 inches of their shafts, alot of other manufactuers take their straightness measurements over the center 10 inches only.

Easton keeps tight spine tolerances on their shafts too . Spine tolerance is very important for getting consistent arrow flight throughout a dozen shafts . If the spine is off on an arrow , it will cause fliers compared to the rest of the arrows within a dozen .

when i have a half dozen made i will # all the arrows from 1 to 6 with a sharpie marker on my white cock vane and shoot them at seperate dots and see which ones are the most consistant and keep a picture of where they hit on paper for about the 1st 2 weeks and then the best 3 are my hunting arrows with # 1 being the killing arrow and 2 and 3 in the quiver, then i will shoot my practice mechanical with those 3 just to make sure they are flying like darts still.

i bought a half dozen shafts 3 years ago i am now down to 3
because of shooting arrows at the same spot
grouping is all right for the 1st couple of weeks of practice, but it gets expensive refletching and smashing arrows up from robin hooding, best to shoot at different spots and then work up to 3-d and shoot singles and make the walk, also allows better focus and mindset shooting single arrows for hunting parctice.
