Been cutting that same field this week and have seen quite a few turkeys so the population didn't suffer too much thankfully. I also saw the youngones that I posted back in spring and there are only 6 now if it's the same group.

I have done that also. Got the eggs this year and ended up hatching 5 of 14. guess it is better than none

All of these eggs were broken when I found them...I've seen so many turkeys and poultes since...like skeeters around there

It wont hurt your population that much. Back in mid 90's seen my dad kill 5 nest in big hay bottom and later in the year after we cut it the second time and had it rolled in field there was around 500 turkeys in the field. those where the good days aint seen turkey #'s like that again. wish i would have had a camera so i could share that with yall.
