I've been looking for a new muzzleloader for my wife, I only have about a 250 dollar price range and it can't be too heavy.
Any suggestions?

Check out sporstmans guide. They had 45cal CVA kodiaks for under 200 with nickel barrels. I bought one 3 years ago from cabelas for 200 and love the accuracy and ease of reload.

I've got a 2 yr old kodiak synthetic with blued barrel with a bushnell 3x9x40 mounted I'll sell for $150 very accurate @100 yds. Nothing wrong with it I just upgraded to a savage.

Why do I carry a gun? Because cops weigh too much to carry and are difficult to conceal.

get the cva optima. I got mine for christmas and put a bushnells banner scope on it with the circle plex. I use 100 grains of pyrodex (ffg) with a 44 mag bullet in a sabot. The gun has a great but pad on it you cant even tell that you are shooting it.
