Thanks for the responses guys and for those that wish to turn this into a debate that is not its purpose. I was just curious to see how everyones season went.
I wasn't trying to turn the thread into a debate, I guess I was just surprised.

I took three nice longbeards with a shotgun. Rolled one longbeard at thirty-five yards, it got up and flew away, (used a different load on that hunt). Missed one longbeard and knocked the feathers off another with a bow. Passed on probably ten jakes. I did not hunt the last eight days of the season. I hunted probably seven times.

I killed 4 in 4 days the first week of season. It will probably never happen again but every bird that responded to my calling those 4 days died but one, and i tried him first for three days in a row. My best hunt was last Thursday with my 7yr old son when he killed his first longbeard. That first week was great but it stinks when you can't carry a gun for the rest of the season. can't wait till the fall hunt

3 mature benton county longbeards in 5 mornings. was gonna try for a wma bird but most of them around here were under water.

4-- 1 opening day,, stalked the other smith co.. called one in nashville,,, and stalked one and caught him as he was flying off... Went a total of 10 times and saw some birds every time,, passed on 3 or 4 jakes ,,, my second year turk hunting ,, reading and info on here paid off,, thankss...
