I was just sitting and pondering about bow hunting this year with my crossbow and got to thinking,what do you do with your bow if you don't get to shoot a deer?Do you leave it cocked until you get home and shoot it at your target?BTW i just got my rope cocker in the mail today,gonna give it a try later or tommorrow.

Shoot a field point into the ground. To be 100% legal, keep the fp in your truck. Also with a 150 pound or less bows, you can usually let them down by hand. Just be sure you have a good hold.

I let mine down by hand it can be alittle tricky until you get it figured out though.
