I was on Ebay checking for hand cranks for my Horton Hunter HD175 CB, and some guy in Montana had a bunch of the Horton cranks that he must buy from Horton when their returned for defect. A lot of the defectc had to do with striped gears on their cranks. Have any of you had any problems with the gears or springs breaking on these cranks. I know things wear out with use, and a 175# pull has got to be a lot of strain on the crank. I also type in Tenpoint Acudraw, and found a lot of torn up units for sale. I'm not trying to start any flame war over the different manufactuers of CB's or their accessories. I just need a product I can truct to be dependable, and give years of faithful service. I know that the cranks come with a fact. warranty and the junk this guy is selling is just something he bought in factory lots, of returned CB cranks. Thanks for anything you can share. Randy

That guy must be a guy that buys all the returns. That is all he sells is defect items. If you watch you can find one that doest really have anythign wrong with it.
