from another successful hoghunt. Went to TX with a few buddies and between us killed 8 hogs that totaled just under 1200 pounds. I kiiled a 180, a 170 and finished off another guys 180 while it was running. Had a great time - got to get busy grinding tomorrow nite. Going back with Huff155 in 4 weeks. Man, I'm going to have to tear up some sausage in the next month!

Worn out now. Will post some pics in a day ot two.

Blue - The pigs have enough fat on them so I don't need to add any. I use Backwoods hot sausage seasoning and ad 10lbs of meat to a 15lb package of seasoning. It's nice and spicy!

Firefox - Killed the first one with my NEF 45-70 with a 125yd shot to the head - DRT. Don't usually take head shots at that distance but a big boars head is a sizable target and this rifle is a tack driver at that distance.

Second one was with my .300WSM in a creek bottom. She qs a 180lb sow and took 3 steps after I shot her. Last one was the running shot and it was with my WSM too. Hit her twice with 2 shots - second one planted her.

BucknBass,
Outstanding shooting! I can nearly hear the sausage cooking before opening day of deer and I can definetly already smell it ;\) Wild pig sausage frying is one smell that will never leave my head!
