The only modification you need to that is to install a strong magnet on the under side so that you can pick metal objects that the hook wont get

Yeah, the magnet would be a great addition but I'd want it to be removable... hmm...

Looks good but will it pick up a cell phone. I dropped mine one time. Lucky for me no one called and it landed face up so I could use my optics to see what time it was.

My quiver somehow popped off my bow while pulling it up one time down at AEDC. I was too tired and hot to go down after it. Tied a bungee strap to the end of my haul line and fished it up. Took about 45 minutes to finally snag it. A large treble hook would have been much better.

I use a big treble hook.Drill out then shoved it in a wine cork !you wrap the hy test fishing line around the cork then duct tape in place!it is a nice small package.make sure you crush the barbs to keep from ripping your gear.works good for me!!!
