Savage, just a few years ago you couldnt give me a savage! But the last few years Savage has come leaps and bounds and will shoot just as good if not better than the most expensive gun. My last three guns have been savage and so will my next three.

Sako has come out with new rifle called the Sako A7. It should sell for around $700. It comes with a 5 shot MOA guarantee with factory ammo. For the money, this rifle is the highest quality rifle out there right now. Sako A7 [/quote]
Looks alot like the Tikka T-3's with a few changes.
Tikka, Sako, Winchester.

I had a Winchester Model 70 Stainless Classic .300WSM but sold it about 2 years ago. Nice set-up and I liked it but decided I didn't really need it.

If you look at the ballistics of a 270 WSM, you will find that it out performs the 300 magnums and the 7mm magnums. I believe it is the perfect deer round.
