Okay if you found one of you guns (parkerized finish) has a light coat of rust on it... almost like rust dust... what would you clean it off with and treat afterwards with?

Washrag........works better than just a soft cotton rag for surface rust.

If using steel wool, make sure it's stainless steel wool. Otherwise, you may have a bigger rust problem in the future from wool fibers embedded.
