i want to buy a pistol, but cant decide what. thinkin real hard about S&W M&P in .40, full size. does anybody own one?

I bought a springfield SD40 and have been very happy with it so far. You should check them out...

i just got back from my local gun dealer, he had a xd 40. i liked it. it comes with 2 12 rnd mags, the M&P comes with 2 15 rnd mags. still aint sure, but it will be one of the two

If I was gonna buy a full size, I would go with the XD in .45 ACP

I had a Baby Desert Eagle in .40 and really liked it, but the .45 fan in me made me trade it for another .45

usually i would agree, but i already own two 1911 style .45's. i want some thing in a different caliber

I am in the same boat, I am going to save a litle more money and get a sig 226 or 229. I looked at the Smith's and XD's to me a sig just felt better. I just feel like 5 years down the road I will be happier with a sig. IMO

I wold go with a Sig 226 or 229 over just about anything...that being said I do really like my XD40.
