I have that same $95 one ( gift)and another one given to me that use those batteries. They are bright , but only got about an hour out of them and I think the 2 batteries were about $5 ea. Thats why I don't use either of them on a regular basis .

It's a waste of time. The light works but the bezel will only last about twenty minutes before it melts. Trust me, I know! That set-up has been on kipkay for a long time. There is a reason the "real" lights are so expensive!

A "stinger" by streamlight is about $100. It puts out 15,000 candle power, last about 1 hour actual burn time, and it is rechargeable (up to 1000 charges). Quality cost but it will last you forever. I've had my oldest one almost 9 years now.

Never buy your CR123 size batteries in a store for $4+. You can get them online for $1 each. I use the Titanium brand and they last just as long as the others. http://www.batteryjunction.com/crba.html
