Not really but putting benton shooters layaway to use.

Found me a Bushmaster M4A2 Patrol Rifle with a hard case and several (not sure how many) 30rnd mags. $975 out the door. Anyone in the know about this gun please inform me on what I have gotten into \:D

Partner just bought an ORC...

No tax, just shipping and $25FFL xfer fee.

But I certainly understand the desire to buy local. My personal preference is the A3 style as well... just makes it easier to clamp on toys on top!

Bentons is 90 days %10 or $45, whichever is higher to put something in layaway.

I think you will be very happy as long as you don't want to mount optics on it. The M4A2 has the fixed carry handle collapsable stock and short 16 inch barrel. If you want to shoot fast and accurate out to about 250 yards you are good to go with the irons. The short sight radius(distance from rear peep to front post)inhibits longer range use. The collapsable stock with the combination of the non-removable carry handle makes mounting optics difficult. CAA offers a piece of plastic to clip onto the stock that will raise up your eyeball enough to see through your scope if you choose to mount one.

Will a .22LR conversion kit work in that gun also?
