I'm going coyote hunting Monday am. I've got my foxpro fx3. What I need to know is what sound to use and how much volume is enough or too much. How long to call before stoping and how long to wait before resuming the calling. I've got the fever,just don't know how to treat it. Thanks alot.
Oh yeah, what about decoys?

Start out kinda low on volume, something that won't scare the crap out of them if they are close to you.
Then get louder.
I usually call every 10 minutes or so for about 30 minutes and then if I get no results I move about 300-500 yards, depending on the lay of the land.
Rabbit in distress is usually a good one to use.
If you want to use a decoy there are a few commercial ones out there like the rigger rabbit or something like that.
I have had success with stuff as simple as a turkey feather tied to a limb to move in the wind.
