if i get a scope with a 50mm lens will i need a set of high scope rings. i also saw the mounts come in either a one piece rail or two seperate mounts that is screwed to the reciever. which do i need

Ive heard that the 770s make great Tomatoe stakes in a garden? Anybody ever tried to use one for that?

i saw a bushnell banner scope i liked. it was i believe it was a 4-16X50. i'm not sure what kind of rings i need for a scope that size. as far as the 770 being a tomatoe stake i dont know but i doubt thats the only use for them

If you have more than one and some string they're good for pole beans as well. \:D Just kiddin' but couldn't resist it.

You'll need the high rings and as far as the bases it's whichever you prefer. Some people say the one piece bases add strength to the receiver but some disagree. I personally like the two piece bases since I think they look better and haven't seen any difference in performance. In the end it's whatever you like best.
