I just bought two of the big bottles of Butch's Bore Shine on sale last week. I also bought a can of Kroil the same day. I also use Hoppe's #9 and Hoppe's Benchrest Copper Solvent. Sounds like you and I agree.

I use mixture of Shooter's Choice/Kroil mixed in a 2:1 ratio. I have several of the other common products but use this mixture 99% of the time. Plateau Hunter

I've read where a lot of folks like the mixture you mention. Must be something to it. I've also heard but don't know for sure that the Butch's Bore Shine has some Kroil in the mix. They both have petroleum distillates but the Kroil label doesn't say which ones. It's a Tennessee product though so it must be good. The Hoppe's and Kroil both smell good at least but the Butch's leaves a little to be desired unless you have a thing for ammonia.

Montana Xtreme Products
Shooters Choice
JB

Still use #9,Branes,Sweets from time to time as I still have it around but I find myself using the above more than the others.

Wipeout Foam is also good as is Outers Gunslick Foam.

Tetra Gun is what I use. Very powerful stuff. Make sure you are in a well ventilated area before use. 4 swabs down the barrel and it's mirror clean.

same here. only 33 years though.

Hoppe's #9 50 years though. I use some G.I. bore cleaner first if I use old military cartridges in case corrosive primers are in them.
