The Brenneke Heavy Field Load lead slug is very accurate shooting and packs one heck of a punch.

Here in NY, most of the southern tier of the state is shotgun only. I have had to hunt shotgun for nearly 30 yrs now, I have several guns set up differently.

My Remington 11-87 premiere with a Hastings barrel in 12ga loves that slug. I have made three, single shot kills at over 145 yds in the past two yrs. The furthest tracking job was 25 yds.

I have tried everything from the Federal/barnes, Federal solid copper, Federal lead sabot, Remington, Deerfield lights. But the Brenneke's are by for the best shooters so far.

The old style Remington solid copper sabots (n/a anymore) shot the best out of my R&H single shot w/hvy barrel.
