What do y'all think of this cold weather gear. I thought about getting it but man it's hard to shell out that much for long handles.

Don't get the tight stuff, I think the loose fit breaths better.

If you get the tight stuff, get two sizes bigger than you normally wear. I wear XL but I got 3XL in the tight cold gear and I really like it.

I've worn UA cold gear for 2 years now and WONT go sitting in the woods without them. Yes, they are expensive but well worth their price in gold(imo). They do an excellent job of holding heat in while pulling moisture from your skin.

I use to loose gear in the fall and the heatgear in the summer. Those shirts make a big difference for me(especially when outside in the summer). I only wear long sleeve shirts when in sun due to a burn on my arm and it is actually cooler wearing the long sleeve u/a than a short sleeve t shirt in the summer. If you watch cabelas/basspro/sports authority then you can usually catch it on sale or in the clearance section at a big discount. Also if you ever go to Destin there is an outlet down there that can save you big if you are in the area.

I was reluctant because of the price also, but I coach high school baseball and the school issued us some for early season...so, I bought tops and bottoms this year and in my opinion they are well worth the money. I always wore the traditional longjohns and the UA is much better. I hunt and fish in TN and also in all parts of Michigan. I gotta say too, I believe they are supposed to be somewhat tight and two sizes bigger was somewhat tight for me.

The hunting under armour is no different from off brand stuff. I wore all different brands growing up playin baseball and football and than I started wearing the same stuff for hunting before they had the hunting line. Walmart has some sometimes. I like wearing it more to keep me from sweating(it breaths really well) than to keep me warm.

You get what you pay for. They are very good at moisture wicking, heat holding, and they are very durable. I've had mine for about 6 years and don't plan on purchasing more for several more years.

Without a doubt they are the best piece of clothing that i've bought for hunting. I have a big problem with sweating alot when i'm walking to my stand but with UA that really was eliminated with the cold gear i bought. I got the full deal pants, long-sleeve shirt, balaclava, gloves and socks!Full body heat gear under armour and let me tell you i have never been as dry and more warm than this past season. The heat gear is suppose to fit you tight don't get bigger sizes wear what you normally would wear because of the moisture wicking and holding your body heat in you have to wear it as your first layer, even no underwear or boxers to get its full affect. Just read up on it some more and I promise you won't be disappointed with buying it.

Most of the folks who complain about the price have never even bought any. They just say "it's not worth it, I buy the stuff at wal-Mart and it's just as good". Like somebody else says, watch Cabela's bargain cave or Bass Pro online and you can catch the stuff 75% off and it is then a great buy. You just have to be patient and catch it as soon as it goes on sale, cause it'll be gone in no time. If you get the tight stuff, I'd go 2 sizes bigger too, it'll still be body conforming.

Ditch the yuppie athletic wear and go with the army issue wear...It costs close to 50 per set but it is worth it and it really works!!! I bought mine last year at the expo in birmingham and man does it keep you warm with other insulated proper clothing

I played baseball for a few years after college and one season they sent me to Grand Rapids Michigan. Out of my first 5 starts of the season it snowed in three of them. I was pissed to say the least since I am used to playing here in TN but I wore one under shirt and then one loose fit Under Armor and was just fine. I do the same thing in the stand. I have never worn the tight fit buit a buddy I hunt with loves his. Worth the price.
