Never saw much use for one of these in the past but I'm either gettin old or I'm getting a scared if the nuts come rolling through. Or if the Dems get it office and we lose rights.

Anyway, theres a PO here thats getting into a new rig and wants to sell his old one ,Bushmaster XM15E2S what are these worth, are they junk, can they be upgraded if I wanted, how accurite are they. His his in good clean shape inside but it's got a few nicks and dings from being in the trunk and such from it being his service rig. Oh ya he's asking $750 for it.

I like Bushmasters, they are quality rigs. I also like that configuration. The AR world has tons of upgrades that you do if you want. As for accuracy, I really dont know because Ive never shot mine at paper but I can hit a torso silhouette at 300 meters with iron sights pretty regularly. I seem to think 750 would be a good price.

That looks like it but I know the carry handle is not removable.

That is an excellent deal. With the fixed carry handle/sights it will be very difficult to use optics. Red-dot sights and regular glass scopes will affix to the the carry handle but attaining the correct sight picture is difficult. I was a soldier long ago and we zeroed our fixed carry handle sights at paper targets 25 meters from the firing line. Not many scoped .22lr squirrel rifles I've shot will do better! In basic we had the feedback range where my Drill Seargents would sit behind a TV screen directly to the rear of of me firing live ammo into targets out to 300 meters. The TV screen lit where my shot landed onto the target from 50 to 300 meters. The targets were paper and the feedback from my Drill Sergeants was instant...good or bad!!! Luckily I hit pretty good.

Bushmaster makes a quality product. You can also add different caliber uppers in the future, they range from $350-$$$$ depending on what you want.

JT's has pretty good stuff I used one of their barreled uppers on a rifle one time and it worked great. They have complete kits (everything except your lower) or barrel uppers you supply complete lower and bolt/carrier.
