This is a cheap way to make a decoy that seems to be very effective.
Material: 1 6-Hole Brick
1 Flexible Coat Hanger
1 Animal tail ( I used my recent Yote tail)
Take the coat hanger and straighten it out. Run one end though the center holes of the brick. Take the other end and run it through a hole in the tail. Make sure the coat hanger is as straight as possible... You can also tie strips of a plastic bag or any kind of material or string onto it.
This entire setup took me 5 min to do. It works great, even with the littlest bit of wind. This could be a great way to save money if you are looking to buy a decoy.

No luck. Although on 2 seperate occasions i had hawks fly in and investigate. Just couldn't get the yotes to show up...

You don't reckon it's got something to do with the smell of the yote tail, have you thought about a Turkey, or other bird feather, instead of the yote tail. Thats what I see on a lot of the tv hunting shows.
