I got home today and found out why Momma picked up a box of .223 shells at Gander Mtn. the other day.

My boy liked his Howa in .308 so much and says it's so accurite,he and his Mom knowing I was on the hunt for an action to build a .223 on,went and ordered me a barreled action in .223.

Well it was here when I got to the house tonight,man ya gotta love em.

Now to find a stock,syn.,wood. Boyds,Elk Ridge and see how good the barrel is. Gotta love winter projects.

Yep her and the kid, I wouldn't trade them fer nothing.
Actually I kinda hit a wall on the stock,I normaly use Boyds unfinished stocks and finish them off the way I like them but I just did a look on their site and they are only selling completed drop ins now. $\:\($ Dang that leaves Richards and Elk Ridge. This will be a yote gun so I may even go with a syn. $\:\($
