I'd go with the AR at this time...
main reason is that you'll always be able to buy a Leupy. You may not very well be able to buy an AR in another few years. Never know what the future holds if we get a democrat for president and a democrat controlled congress!

I bought both my AR's back in the 90's because i feared the democrats getting control. Then you had the assault weapons ban. I would go with the AR also.

I was looking at Rock River, is there another AR company I should look at. I dont want to spend to much over a 1,000 Rock River seems a good product at an okay price.
