Thanks for some feed back guys. The reviews I have found on the Rossi say the trigger pull is about 3.5lbs pull .They say the CVA is about 3lbs. I'll be in Nashville next week and try to find a few to throw up on my shoulder to get a feel for.
They may have changed the way they a doing their triggers from when we got ours. Also the quality if the wood on the Rossi was not what I would have expected as well. Your probably asking yourself why I bought this gun. I have asked myself that same question several times. I will proabably sell it to fund a 10/22 next.

The Rossi's are pretty cheap $$$ wise. I'm not expecting much. Funds are low,this year just want something decent on a buget that a lefty can shoot. My old 30-30 is still shooting fine for a woods gun. I've been hunting around some bean fields and really want a 270 that will get out alittle farther.

I agree with the $$$ for the Rossi. That will probably be my choice also since funds are a little low and no one seems interested in trading for my .300. It's just to punishing for my wife or daughter to shoot enough to get very consistant with. I looked at the combo with the .243 in it and think that may be the choice to go with on my end.
