A while back (maybe a year?) someone posted pics of a stainless Remington 700 that was some kind of anniversary or special edition that they had purchased locally. Can anyone point me to that post? Or just post some more info on the rifle?

Although I'm not your basic 700 person ,I really like the 7600's, yeah I know everybody says I'm weird. But when Remington comes out with one in an odd caliber like 7mm-08,.257 Boberts or .35 Remington I go to these folks. They have some kind of deal with Remington to get their special runs before anybody else does and some of their stuff their the only ones I've seen with them. Just a thought if your looking for one they might be able to help you.

No problem.
Dave,
You can still get that rifle minus,the liminted edt floor plate, as it is part of the Remington line up. CDL-SF
They also still make the liminted edt model of these,these have replaecd the yearly "Classics". 2006 was the above .3006,2007 was a .17 Rem Fireball,can't recall at present the 2008 version but it is on there web site.

The CDL-SF Ltd. Edition 100th Anniversery .30-06 Springfield.
Thats it. Did you get that locally? It sure is nice looking. 
A friend of mine bought one last fall and I believe he got it at the Franklin Gun Shop.
