This spring I'm considering overseeding a two year clover plot with alfalfa. My reason is mainly to give a farmer friend a few more acres of hay and me a few less acres to cut and maintain. Hopefully a win win. Question....can I just disk lightly and overseed with the alfalfa? I am considering using the Biologic alfalfa which is advertised to be less finichy.....anyone have experience with it?

Yes. I'd cut the area as low as possible and then a light disk. Cultipacking will increase success. Planting rate is 20# per acre on a well prepared bed so plan accordingly. You may need to double your rate depending on the shape of your field.
