I am finally getting some action out of this stuff from my deer. Planted it last year and they wouldn't touch it evan when it was hit by the cold. But this year they hit it right after that last cold snap.

I had 15-20 in my DER yesterday, killed 1 big doe. Things have picked up dramatically in my plots the last 10 days or so.

Same here, although the majority of that activity is at night.

We put DER in our plots this year. Though we have only seen 2 deer all season in the plots, I know they are wearing it out. They must just be doing it at night. There are tracks everywhere, and the nibbled on stems are about all that is left in some areas.

Had 11 in a one acre plot of DER, oats, and crimson clover yesterday evening. Haven't hunted this stand in nearly 1 month, and the deer sign was amazing. All that was left was the DER, but the deer were using it heavily. Had most of the deer within 10 yards of the stand and wanted to shoot a big doe so badly!! Oh well, that's one of the disadvantages of living in unit A; no doe hunts in Grundy Co. right now.
Why work when you can hunt?

Yeah, my action has been at night too. Will the eaten der continue to regrow or will I need to do something to it to keep it through spring?
