Just got the new TC Pro Hunter 209x50 for Christmas. Not only that, but sittin on top was a Bushnell 3200 Elite 3x9x40. I could not be happier. Now I just need to know what load to start out with. If anyone has one that shoots a tight pattern. Please let me know what you are shooting. Thanks Ryan

250 grain shockwave and 100-110 grains of 777 works great in mine.

I always use the powder pellets which come in 50 grains. How would i go about getting just 10 grains? Would i just have to pour in loose?

Hodgon makes Triple 7 pellets in 30 grain and 50 grain. I use two 30 grain pellets and one 50 grain pellet. Not sure on mixing loose power with a pellet. Fact that the pellet has a hole thru the middle, which would be plugged up by loose powder, might hinder performance.

How much of a difference will 10 grains of powder make? I just talked to a guy that has the exact set up and he is shooting 120 grains of powder and a 250 grain shockwave bullet

My Encore was not as accurate with 120 grains or 150 grains. Groups for my barrel started to open up.

I use the Jim Shockey's "Gold" sticks for 50 cal. each stick is 50 grains. 2 sticks and a 250 grain shock wave and i get a real tight group. Does a great job putting them on the ground aswell.

Would 100 grains and a 250 grain bullet make a big difference in the performance. I usually dont have to worry about long shots. Id say at most 100-150
