wondering if you guys could help me out.. I really want the 700 sps varmint by rem however the rossi single shot is much cheaper.. Is the rossi good for long shots, 300 yds I know it has a short heavy 23inch barrel or is the rem a much better shooting gun...

go with a new england arms or H&R same price as a Rossi but more accurate. thats what owners of them say any ways. the handy or partner are good guns.
