I bought a simmons blazer brand rifle scope to put on my 30-30 about a month ago and i put it on the day i bought it and i just now got around to take it out to sight it in.Well needless to say that, that scope is a P.O.S.1 clik left might mean 4 clicks up or visa versa. This scope is completly messed up.I could not get the crosshairs to move where i wanted them for anything. Now im stuck with it,cause i don't have recipt or anything. The bad thing is that this makes number 2 from wal-mart that this has happend to me.The first one was the Muzzleloader scope kit.It did the same thing.I guess you get what you pay for.I won't buy another scope unless it is a leupold or another good name brand.

I bore sighted it first at about 20 yards, then started shooting at about 50 yards.Even when i bore sighted it,i noticed that i could not get it to move right. One of my shots hit about 3 inches to the right, well i clicked it back to the left about 15 clicks to see what it did there and fired again and the dang crosshairs moved about 1/2 in down, so i gave it a few more clicks and it went way to the left.

I have tried and tried to tell people on this site, stop buying crap made in China.....If you'll look that scope over or the box, you'll see that dreaded little gold sticker. Leupold scopes are still made in USA. I will confess that I have an 'older' Simmons scope (about 15 years old) and it was made in Japan....seems to still be good and I've got it on my deuce-deuce. Quality of glass kinda goes like this geographically (and this is just my opinion) China, Korea,Russia,Phillipines,Japan,USA,Germany,Austria ....sorry if someone got left out and some will probably disagree with this order, but just my opinion. Sadly, I've got a 'pricey' Nikon Pro-Staff that made in the Phillipines....it seems to be a quality piece.....don't let the order skew your definition of what is to be presumed as absolute with regards to quality on a quantitative scale...there is a mile just between the quality of a Chinese manufactured products and the next one up on my personal scale (Korea)....is that clear as mud? Don't buy anything made in China, unless it will stop you from bleeding to death. I try to be Made in USA guy, and I try very hard. Sometimes you just can't avoid it. However, I try darn harder to NOT buy a Chinese made product.

If I had known you were gonna buy a blazer then I could have warned you that even BSA scopes are better than the simmons blazer....and I HATE BSA scopes.

Walmart scope and Simmons scope. Those are the only two things wrong with your scope.
