Yes, we kill several every year. We usually don't start hunting them until January.

I hunt them, but don't like eating them, they taste like tough liver, I give them all away.

I have killed a ton of the web-footed buzzards. We usually shoot all ours in the september resident season in NC, limit is 8/person/day. We will let them pass when duck hunting unless times are hard. We usually set up on them in cow pastures. We killed 12 jump shooting at a retired couples pond, who could not take their grandchildren fishing because of the mess on the bank. 2 of the 12 were banded and the band report stated they were banded june 1993. We threw those 2 away and decided to eat the leather of our boots.LOL. Oh yeah, banded less than 10 miles from where they were killed.

There is hundreds of them up here on the Clinch River. We hunt in the morning as they are coming out of the Hatchery (where they stay) and blast them as they are coming over the river. They make good jerky but you have to dry them forever....
