All you will see about Kimbers on forums or on the net is the lack of consistancy with their rifles. I have 2 and cannot be happier. The guns give you the features of a custom rifle without the cost. I have heard of lackluster accuracy but both of mine will shot MOA or better, my 270 WSM will shoot 1/2 inch groups all day long with handloads.

I had a Montana and had to send it back to them for service..... Way to tight of a chamber.... They also recrowned it.... Still could not get it to shoot anything under 2" and that was with Handloads.... Which is very unfortunate since I really liked the way the gun handled and felt...
They have had such issues with consistency as Kimberman said the y have a term for it.... called Kimber Roulette.....
Just pray you get a good one if you buy one...

thats too bad. i have a 1911 that is as acurate as any pistol i have ever shot. real tight.
