I have a T/C Black Diamond .50 cal muzzle loader. I had a problem with the ramrod rattling and I fixed that with a strong rubber band. But, the other problem I'm having is the primer cap falls out once in awhile, especially when I have it on my shoulder with the sling. I tried not cocking it but I don't really like that solution safety wise. Any suggestions on how to keep the primer cap in place? Thanks...

Maybe try new caps to see if they fit tighter or see if you can convert it to 209 primers.

Hi Gravey, I'm using Winchester W209 primers. Same ones I use for my reloader...I will check at my local gunshop (give me a reason to go there) and see what else is available though

If you have the 209 nipple and primers are falling back out get a new nipple or those little springs if they sell them. I have a Blk. Dia. also. great ML.

Smokepole...where would you recommend getting the springs if they are available? Before the season I always take my gun apart and re-clean it...more than anything to just get revved for the season. This year I did notice that one of the springs was actually off on one side. I took a screwdriver and put it back on...so, maybe that's it. Yeah, I really like this gun too.
