Ive got some plots that have produced alot of dder sightings but they are mowed down to the ground. Is it too late to top sow some wheat and get any substantial growth?

Substantial growth, probably, but you could probably get some growth. Wheat seed is so cheap, why not give it a try?

Whether it's worth it or not is up to you, but even wheat mowed to the ground will rapidly rebound with a few warm days like we're supposed to have over the weekend.

It would be cheaper to spread some more wheat, but broadcasting some nitrogen (34-0-0) will really give a boost to the wheat that you have already have, especially with the warm and wet weather.

Fertilizer prices are pretty high - I think I paid about $42 for 150 lbs of 34-0-0 a couple of weeks ago at the coop.
