Okay, I've shot the 7mm-08 and wanted one. Now I've shot the 25-06, like it too. Which would you go with and why?

Get the one that's in the rifle you like best. Both are good.

I haven't shot either, but both guns get great reviews. If you like both guns, buy whatever gun you can get the best deal on.

Get them both. That seems to be my way of dealing with rifle decisions.

I would but I think the subsequent divorce and child support would be bad, real bad. LOL

Ross. If you like a short action go with the 7. If action length doesn't matter, go with the 25. I like the 25 myself.

I've got the 25-06 in a winchester model 70. It's my favorite gun. Doesn't kick and is a tackdriver.

I have both, both are excellent cartridge's. That being said I hunt more with my 7mm-08,if I'm not thinking (which happens alot)and reach in the safe for a rifle and out comes the 7,don't have a reason why, just does. But they are both deer slayers.

the 7mm-08 offers a better bullet weight selection. The 25-06 is flatter shooting...... it would depend on where and how you hunt. Large open fields, I give the nod the .25. In the woods, i would go with the 7mm-08
