I am new to the concept of mangagement. The land owner I lease from has pretty good equipment, but I aint no farmer. Are there any good web sites, books, etc. that will give me step by step, when and what to plant. I just need help to get started. Thank yall I look forward to doing my part to help the tn deer herd.

YES,.. join QDMA. You can do this at qdma.com

The material and info you receive from the quality whitetails magazine is well worth the membership.

They also sell many publications on management and management practices. Quality food plots is a superb book for food plotting.

You can also stay tuned in here on this site,.. we discuss everything ,... so you can learn alot right here. On the qdm part of the site of course.

Good luck.......... if you need anything else just post away.

Join the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA). The QDMA is an organization started by deer biologists and researchers for the sole purpose of educating hunters in deer management principles.

QDMA's magazine Quality Whitetails is well worth the price of admission.
